Dialogs Chapter 3. Concepts
New IP Configuration Dialog
The New IP Configuration dialog helps users create a new IP configuration file (.acxip). After indicating
a name and location for the configuration file, click Finish to create the file and open the relevant IP
Configuration Editor. See also: Creating a New IP Configuration.

New IP Configuration Dialog Fields
Field
Description Default
Available IP
Lists the available IP blocks by FPGA
family.
Description
Provides a description of the IP block.
Directory
The location in the file system where the
configuration file will be created. Users
can either type the new location or
browse to select a file system location for
the new configuration.
(current active project directory)
File Name
The name of the new configuration file to
be created.
new <unique number>.acxip
Add to active
project
This check box allows the IP
configuration file to be added to the
current project. This option is only
available if a project is active.
