run fanout control Chapter 5. Tcl Command Reference
[-activeimpl <arg>] Optional The -activeimpl option can be
used to specify an alternate impl
name to activate and restore. By
default, the last active impl
during the session the project
was saved in will be activated.
[-acxdb <arg>] Optional Specifies an ACXDB file path to
restore the state of the active
impl from
[-force] Optional The -force option can be used to
override a project lock that has
been set by another ACE
session. Using -force causes the
current ACE session to take
ownership of the project lock for
the project being restored. You
should not use this option to run
multiple ACE sessions on the
same project, since output and
log file may get corrupted from
having 2 sessions writing to the
same files.
run
run [-step <arg>] [-resume]
This command runs the steps of the design flow. It can be used to run the entire flow from the beginning,
run a specific flow step, or resume the flow from the last incomplete step. Using no options will run the
entire flow from the beginning.
Argument Required/Optional Description
[-step <arg>] Optional The optional -step <id> option
is used to run the specified flow
step, by id, and all of its
children.
[-resume] Optional The optional -resume option is
used to run the entire flow from
the last successfully completed
flow step.
run fanout control
run fanout control [-fanout limit <arg>] [-fanout limit clone <arg>]
This command does fanout control for high fanout control nets
Argument Required/Optional Description
[-fanout limit <arg>] Optional Apply fanout control on nets
with fanout greater than this
limit
